Powered by coconut flat whites and cheered on by a group of creative friends, Ezra Pinkerton is an illustrator and designer based in Belfast.

Playing with vibrant colours and experimental mark-making, Ezra creates work around a range of themes including everyday joy, 80s fashion and queer empowerment. He blends digital and analogue techniques, but his true love is ink and a big brush.

Ezra’s clients to date include Spunout.ie, Pizza Works, Strange New Places, Froth Coffee Lounge, and Belfast Trans Resource Centre.

Winner of the 2024 UsFolk Illustration Prize and Rush Digital Printing Award.

“Ezra has been a joy to work with in every aspect. He handles tight deadlines, last minute changes and stakeholder management with ease whilst simultaneously creating stunning illustrations and graphics. Aside from this, his art style has proven to be incredibly adaptable and received well amongst Spunout’s core audience (people aged 16-25). We at Spunout would not hesitate to bring Ezra on to another project again, and we encourage you to do the same.”
